On World environment day ten volunteers from the Datamail Group grabbed their gummies and their gardening gloves and headed for the hills. The tree planting event organised by Conservation volunteers in conjunction with the Hutt City Council took on the tasking of replacing fire damaged pines on the eastern hills of Lower Hutt with native trees. The team planted close to 300 trees and had a great time in the process. It is quite amazing that just 10 people could make such a difference, imagine what would happen if we all planted even ten trees?
